The range of V-Series rack mount cases from Peli-Hardigg™ is the perfect item for anyone in the music, AV, news or entertainment industries that requires a rack-mounted case that can protect it's contents no matter what is thrown at it.
With electronics it is always important to avoid impacts, drops and vibrations, so with a Peli Rack Mount case you know your electronic equipment is safe. All V-Series rack mount cases feature a polymer outer shell to absorb impacts, with 8 heavy-duty rubber shock mounts inside to isolate the frame from the shell and dissipate residual movement.
Within the V-Series range of cases exists to subtypes; Classic-V and Super-V. Both have the features mentioned above, as well as mating columnar ribs, manual purge valves, watertight o-ring gaskets and recessed hardware. However, there are a few differences between the two:
Classic-V
Classic-V cases feature an 838mm deep frame, as well longer shock mounts and a larger sway pace than the Super-V cases, making them best suited for very fragile equipment.
Super-V
Super-V rack mount cases have a 610mm deep frame instead and use shorter shock mounts than the Classic-V. This allows them to be more compact and makes them better suited for moderately fragile equipment.
